Buhari's government approves 8 new
universities

Reports available to NAIJ.com confirm that the Federal
Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, November 2,
2016, approved eight new universities to be cited in
different parts of the country.

However, the universities are all privately-owned,
according to a report by The Punch.
President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the
meeting which included cabinet members of his
administration.

The meeting was held at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, the
country’s capital city.
The universities, according to the report include:
Anchor University, Ayobo, Lagos; Clifford University;
Coal City University; Dominican University, Ibadan,
Kola Daisi University, Ibadan; Legacy University, Okija
among others.
