DELTA STATE BURSARY AND SCHOLARSHIP 2016

Delta State Bursary and Scholarship application forms
for the 2016/2017 academic session are now available
online. Application procedure and eligibility details are
available below.
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, hereby
invites applications from qualified Delta State Students
in Nigerian Public and Private Tertiary Institutions to
participate in the 2016/2017 Student’s Special
Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award) tenable in Nigeria
tertiary institutions.
This scheme is for students already in any recognized
public and higher institution /Universities, Polytechnics,
Colleges of Education that are on regular programme.

SCHOLARSHIP.
Students Eligible for Delta State Bursary.
The 2016/2017 Bursary Online Application will be open
on Wednesday, 28th September, 2016 (12:00 AM).
All Applicants must:
Be of Delta State Origin;
All applicant MUST have registered with National
Identification Management Commission (NIMC);
Be a Registered full time student only of any
Public Tertiary Institutions;
(Diploma, Masters and PhD Students are not
eligible);
Either be in Second year or above (200 to 500
level) in the Universities or
Be in ND II and HND II in the Polytechnics /
Monotechnics;
Be in 200 level and above for Colleges of
Education Student.
Have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous
academic year’s examination.
Students Eligible for Delta State Scholarship.
All Applicants must:
Be of Delta State Origin;
All applicant MUST have registered with National
Identification Management Commission (NIMC);
Display intellectual ability and leadership
potential;
Meet the University’s English language
requirements (usually at least 6.5 in IELTS or
equivalent TOEFL score valid for current year
admission) Oversea/External Scholarship Only;
You must currently reside in Nigeria;
Proof that you must return and take up permanent
residence in Nigeria after completion of the
proposed programme of study;
Must have a valid Nigerian passport;
Be a Registered full time Student only of any
Public and Private Tertiary Institutions.
HOW TO APPLY FOR DELTA STATE
BURSARY AND SCHOLARSHIP.
Applicants are to click on the link (http://
www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng/eligibility ) to commence
registration.
Applicants are to fill the Fresh Application Form
and submit online.
Online processing fee of N1,000 will charged
using debit cards.
Once the Payment is successful, Login to your
profile page to complete your details by providing
your Bank details and your Academics details.
Print your acknowledgement card to take to the
Dean of Student Affairs.
Upload the signed and stamped
acknowledgement card for verification.
